General introduce
MDH is one white powder without smell; it is neutral substance that can react with acid and alkali both. MDH-04 grade is widely used as fire retardant in plastic and rubber industry.
FIRE RETARDANT
Mg (OH) 2 begins to release crystal water from 350 ℃ . MDH is like ATH, it has three performances: flame r etardant, smoke suppressant, filling agent, so it has widely used in plastics, rubber, painting etc applications.
Comparing with ATH , MDH decomposition temperature is higher 100 ℃ , it can used in some polymer that need high temp process.
Also as inorganic flame retardant, MDH will have good performance when dose is over 50%. But high dose will influence the mechanic properties of total plastic system, so the surface treatment by Stearic Acid or Silane Coupling Agent on MDH will improve its compatibility and combination with the plastics particle
MDH-04 grade is surface treated by Silane that is over 99%. i t has improved the performance in plastic system.

Standard package is 25kg/bag, 500kg/bag, 1000kg/bag.

Stored in cool, dry and well ventilated environment.
